The British Council of New Zealand has an excellent website for exploring studies in the UK and also will connect you with scholarship opportunities: http://www.britishcouncil.org/nz.htm
What does the British Council do?
The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for education opportunities and cultural relations. In New Zealand we work to create projects which connect aspirational young New Zealanders with the best of contemporary UK culture, in the spheres of arts, creative industries, science, technology, and education.

The BBC wants your drama!
The BBC World Service launches the global search for two of the world’s best new radio plays with the International Playwriting Competition. Two lucky writers will win the opportunity to have their plays broadcast on the World Service. The two winners will come to London and see their play made into a full radio production, which will then be broadcast on the BBC World Service. They will also each receive a £2,500 prize and there are also prizes for the runners-up. Entry is only open to anyone who is over the age of 16 as at 31 March 2011 who is not normally a resident of the UK. Entrants should write a radio play of approximately 60 minutes in length on any subject of their choice.
