Getting ready for Graduate and Internship Recruitment
Getting ready for Graduate and Internship Recruitment
Welcome back to campus! It’s that time of the year again with preparations well underway for March recruitment, especially for those studying commerce, law and also other disciplines. Employers are on campus conducting presentations from 5th March! Generally presentations are open to everyone regardless of discipline or year of study. Make this your opportunity to learn about the wide range of career options in an informal relaxed manner. Prepare to be proactive and “network”. i.e. meet and establish a personal relationship with your prospective employer in an informal yet professional environment; learn about the type of work being offered across the range of options; hear about the experiences of recent graduates; find out how organisations differ; discover the skills and attributes valued by employers; get familiar with the language and culture of the workplace – all will contribute to help strengthen your application.
