That’s a Ghostbusters reference for those too young to remember Ghostbusters and I mention it because it’s Friday the 13th.  Not that I’m superstitious in the slightest and the only reason I didn’t walk under that ladder this morning is because Wellington winds are very windy and I didn’t want to get knocked out…

The fear of Friday the 13th is apparently called paraskevidekatriaphobia (thanks Wikipedia) and in honour of the day I wanted my blog post to mention something scary, in some way. I think my colleague Heather takes the prize with her post on the impending zombie apocalypse but I did find this post from the job search site Monster in the USA paying homage to scary jobs. Certainly not for everyone.

For me personally, two of the scariest jobs in the world come from fictional movies:

Wicked Witch of the West

Child Catcher

I hope they paid them a lot of money to make grown adults like myself still shudder in fear….

Happy Friday 13th everyone!!!
